Maryland modern wooden bed with upholstered headboard, also available in the version fully made of wood. Light and minimal in line, this bed almost looks like floating thanks to the high shaped feet available in metal or wood, slightly recessed compared to the thin bed-frame. The joining points between the bed-frame and headboard is made smoother by the rounded edges of the bed; the internal sloped side of the bed allows for an easier everyday bed making.
Maryland can be equipped with a big, roomy storage box with double lift-up system a bit recessed compared to the bed surface: this allows you to have a lot of space for bed linen, blankets and winter / summer clothes while still keeping a sleek design.
In the version with upholstered headboard, a wooden profile frames the leather or faux-leather which covers up the light padding of the headboard.
Hand-made stitchings on the headboard vary according to the model: a single line in the middle for the version with wooden feet and four vertical lines for the version with metal feet. Maryland is also available in a fully upholstered version: the structure is covered with expanded polyurethane with an outer polyester wadding layer and then covered up in fabric (the cover is removable), faux-leather or leather (cover not removable).
Maryland is available as an Italian standard double bed or king size, in different brushed oak shades.
