Description

Columbus Step is a TV stand measuring 240 cm, available with a lacquered finish, in wood vneeer or melamine. The TV stand is available as a wall-mounted unit or standing on the floor with low hiiden feet or high metal feet. Distinguished by the wooden perimeter frame common to the entire Columbus collection, this TV stand stands out for the two different heights of the top, almost as if to create an open compartment above part of the storage elements. The customization options are numerous: as well as the placement, it is possible to modify the width - with measurements from 180 to 270 cm - and the height, from 35,5 to 51,5 cm. The different types of base resting on the ground, in metal or transparent methacrylate, also allow you to further play with the heights and aesthetics of the complement.
Matching wall units and open compartments, available with the alternative products at the bottom of the page, allow you to furnish the entire wall around the TV stand core, which can in turn be configured with perimeter LED lighting on the rear side.

Technical study

Material Specifications
Structure, Fronts and Upper Panels: made of 2 cm thick wood particle panels covered in melamine with a matte or glossy lacquered finish or metal with painted wood veneer. By glossy front we mean the external side and its edges, while the interior is supplied with the corresponding matte lacquered colour.
Back Panels: made from medium density wood particle panels with a thickness of 0,8 cm with synthetic finish.
Drawer: thickness of 1,4 cm with bottom panel with thickness of 0,8 cm made from wood particle panels, inside has woven Jute finish.
Parimeter Structure: made of medium density wood particles with a thickness of 1 cm covered in melamine in a matte lacquered, metallic or painted wood veneer finish.

Top: made of ceramic obtained from slabs measuring 162 x 324 cm with a thickness of 1,2 cm. Cut randomly respecting the dimensions and direction of the slab design. Very resistant, they are an eco-compatible product.

Technical Specifications and Equipment
Drawer Opening: the fronts with a visible upper edge have a minimal handle, normally positioned in the centre of the front flush with the outside; for all the others there is push-pull opening.
Drawer Guides:
- opening with Minimal profile handle: high-sliding metal guides with total extraction, end stop block and dynamic load capacity of 30 kg. "Blumotion" cushioned return mechanism integrated into the guide for a smooth and silent closing. Anti-release pin and vertical adjustment of the inclination of the fronts integrated in all the guides of the system. Stabilizing bar added for drawers with a width of 90 cm and "Movento" guides with built-in stabilizer as well as lateral adjustment of the fronts for drawers with a width of 120 and 150 cm.
- push-pull opening: high-sliding metal guides with total extraction, limit switch block and dynamic load capacity of 30 kg. Sliding synchronizer integrated in the guides of drawers with a width greater than 45 cm. Anti-release pin and vertical adjustment of the inclination of the fronts integrated in all the guides of the system.
Drawers with widths of cm 120 and 150 have "Movento" guides and lateral adjustment of the fronts.

Lighting: under base with 3000K LED bar, with external profile in satin aluminum; LED frame at the top and sides or on four sides with 3000K LED light from 27,5 to 69,4 W with power supply included and optional remote control. To have the base element backlit with LED strips, a 1.9 cm th. spacer panel in a black MDF finish is placed between the element and the wall. The depth of the element will therefore increase by 1.9 cm. The spacer panel is fixed to the wall while the base is attached to the spacer panel with the supplied brackets. .
Cable Holes: Available on top and back of elements with drop-down doors. The cable hole for the top is rectangular in aluminium, with dust brush and internal dimension of 16,5 x 2,6 cm. The rear cable hole instead consists of a large slot on the central part of the backrest (not visible from the front), the dimensions of which change depending on the element involved but which leaves a frame of approximately 5 cm per side. For this reason, this latter cable hole is only available on floor models.

Heat-treated Oak: this particular oak wood finish is characterised by the contrats created between light veins and a dark, full backround. This effect is created by the high temperature to which the veneer is subjected, determining a different colour between the harder and softer parts of the wood, with a pleasant and random chiaroscuro.
