Maintenance Tips
Melamine: for cleaning simply use neutral liquid detergents. To remove limescale stains, wipe the surface with a sponge soaked in vinegar or an anti-limescale product, then rinse and dry. Do not use acids, abrasive products or powders; do not leave anti-limescale products in contact with the surface for a long time, as this could create marks.
Lacquer: For cleaning, use soft, non-abrasive cloths to avoid damaging the surface. Do not use products containing solvents, acetone or abrasives, nor products with a wax, alcohol or silicone base.
Wood: "live" material superficially protected by paint; for cleaning it is necessary to use a soft, non-abrasive, damp and well-wrung cloth. It is recommended to clean the top along the grain and dry carefully.
To know more...
Mineralguss: it is a material composed of calcium carbonates and aluminum trihydrates, bound by a low percentage of polyester resin. The surface is covered with a gelcoat film which offers excellent physical-chemical resistance. The compound is ductile and heat resistant. Any colour variations, caused by high temperatures, can be eliminated by cleaning with a slightly abrasive sponge and subsequent polishing.
To clean, use a sponge with water and a normal cream detergent. The surface must not be in contact with solvents and alkaline lotions such as ammonia. Hair colour products should not sit in the sink and should be rinsed off immediately. Never fill the sink with hot water above 60°C.
