Maintenance Tips
Melamine and HPL Stratified: for cleaning, please use neutral liquid detergents. To remove limescale spots pass a sponge wet with vinegar or a anti-limescale product, wash and then dry out. Do not use acid products or abrasive duties; do not leave the anti-limescale agents too much on the surfaces in order to avoid auras.
Lacquer: clean with soft non-abrasive cloths to avoid the scratch of surfaces. Do not use products containing solvents, acetone or abrasive agents. Avoid silicon, alcohol and wax based products.
Wood: a "living" material with superficial varnish protection; to be cleaned with a soft non-abrasive damp cloth. It is recommanded to clean the top according to the sense of the veins. Dry with care.
Further Info...
Stratified HPL: laminated HPL, 10mm thick, made up of layers of cellulosic fibres impregnated with phenolic resin. The external layers, however, are impregnated with thermosetting resins. The material is subjected to polycondensation of the resins with a combination of strong pressure and heat of 150°. The surface is then rough to the touch. The material has many properties which are necessary for settings where there is a need for a high level of hygiene. It is a non-porous material which does not generate mould or the growth of bacteria. It is resistant to scratches, bumps and general wear. It is characterised by its capacity to endure chemicals, organic agents, and for its high level of impermeability. It is dust-proof, easy to clean, non-toxic and suitable for contact with food, environmentally friendly, heat-resistant up to 170° and non-flammable.
