Description

Liverpool velvet rug with vintage bouclé effect is available rectangular, square, round and elliptical with customizable sizes according to your needs in terms of space.
The low pile of the rug has an effect similar to velvet, made with a tufting technique, and it alternates to an irregular bouclé vintage pattern, that reproduces a worn out effect. Liverpool has a significant nap effect since the shades change in tone according to the light and the pile direction. The effect under the feet is the one of a soft carpet that furnishes and warms up the environment while at the same time cushioning the noises of the steps.
The rug is available in several variants; it can be framed with a yarn or it is possible to choose an applied edge of 5 cm in cotton or faux-leather.

Tufting:
Tufting is a processing technique that produces robust carpets with a very dense pile. Tufting machines work according to the sewing machine principle: hundreds of needles thread tufts of yarn onto a previously woven backing. During processing, the yarn is cut and finished, resulting in its peculiar effect on the rug surface.
