Description

Cocò by Cantori is a velvet upholstered bench with metal legs also available with leather or imitation leather lining.
The seat is in moulded wood with double-density rubber padding to offer the right support; it is eventually rounded off with a sartorial cover with trimmed edges. The legs are made of hand-polished and cold-tapered iron, followed by a final electroplating finish.
An excellent bench to offer an additional seat in the living room or to be placed by the end of the bed.

Cold-cast working: processing that reduces metal pipes from a larger diameter to a smaller one through hammering.
Electroplating: This is a surface-finishing technique that allows a non-precious metal to be coated with a thin layer of a nobler metal. In a tub, the so-called "electroplating bath", the object to coat is immersed in an aqueous solution along with the noble metal. By creating a potential difference using a current generator, a movement of electrical charges is generated which transfers the solute metal to the metal to be coated. The result is a very thin, compact and bright coating layer which, on one hand, protects the metal structures from corrosion and on the other improves their aesthetic and surface properties.
