Technical Specifications and Equipment
Slatted Base: 68mm thick slats made of steamed beech plywood bent by warm with low formaldehyde emission. The slats are connected to the metal frame with silicon rubber mounts. The steel frame is at square section mm 40 x 30. Painting with epoxy powders.
Structure: fir solid wood and/or caged in multi-layer poplar wood. 18/25 mm thick panels made of particle poplar wood in E1 class of low and natural wood fibre.
Filling: crushproof polyurethane foam with different firmness, density from 18 to 40 Kg/m³. First layer made of polyester foam joined with grabbing interline made of polyester and/or batting polyester at 100% of 200 gr.
Headboard back: covered in the same material of the frontal headboard.
Jewellery box: positioned at the base of the headboard, it is useful to store small objects like smartphones, watches or jewels.
Storage Box: 12-14 thick panels made of particle poplar wood in E1 class.
Simple lift-up mechanism: traditional mechanism certified and tested up to 5.000 cycles, allows you to lift the bed base at 45°. Metal structure painted in epoxied powders with gas springs set on mattress weight.
Double lift-up mechanism: tested up to 4.000 cycles with assisted mechanism, allows you to lift the bed base at 45° and then raised it flat at a convenient height (m h.1). In this way, you can access the box easily and don't have to bend over the bed to make it or get into uncomfortable positions. Metal structure painted in epoxy powders with gas springs set on mattress weight.
Feet:
Basic standard (Eko bed frame): n.4 polypropylene regenerated and recyclable feet, available in wengé, black, white or silver. 3 cm height.
Lux (Eko bed frame): n.2 " L " shaped footboard feet for measures of cm 18 x 18 h.3. Available in seasoned natural beech wood in wengé, black, matt white or chrome plated colour. Choosing Lux model, the 2 headboard footboard feet will be only included in the Basic polypropylene model in the same colour of the choosen finish.
Blade (Tokyo bed frame): n.2 plexiglass footboard feet in moulded alluminium alloy. Painted in epoxy, satin or bronze, with brushing treatment. 13 cm hight. Choosing Blade feet, the two headboard feet will be in the Ghost clear model.
Plexi (Tokyo bed frame): n.2 footboard feet in clear plexiglass 30 mm thick with non-sliding rubber 13 cm hight. Choosing the Plexi model, the two headboard feet will be in the Ghost clear model.
Tower (Tokyo bed frame): n.2 footboard feet in polish chrome-plated stainless steel, 13 cm hight. Choosing the Tower model, the two headboard feet will be in the Ghost clear model.
Optionals
Remove slatted base: you can purchase a bed without bed base only for the models without storage box
Clean Up System: it is a mechanism that allows you to lift the storage bed models and move the whole structure,without effort, by operating two hidden levers assembled on the sides of the bed frame. In this way, 4 no-marks rubber casters lower down and the whole bed is raised of cm h. 13 and can be move back and forth effortlessly. When the levers are lowered down, the casters disappear and the bed rests again on its feet. Easy, handy and safe.
Corner supports set: available for the models with slatted base without mechanical systems and without storage box. It gives the possibility to control slatted base's height for a more or less recessed mattress. The three different height positions are: 5 cm, 6 cm and 12 cm.
Charging tower: set in the jewellery box, the optional charging tower has two USB ports to recharge smartphones, tablets or laptops. It is useful, small and it comes out making a soft pressure on the top of its surface. In the same way it disappears inside the box.
Tool-holder: useful, practical and elegant solution to store magazines, glasses and handkerchiefs.
LED lighting system: a couple of steerable LED reading lights incorporated in the headboard which are ideal for reading at night without disturbing the partner. This lightning system is very technological and it can be switched on and off simply by touching the little lamp.

Storage beds with covered headboard are delivered with an already fixed mechanism and they come with the Catas Italian quality certification.
