The Osaka Sommier is an upholstered bed frame without a headboard, ideal for positioning in the centre of the room, under a bridge wardrobe, in an attic with a sloping ceiling or as a space-saving solution. The absence of the headboard and the upholstered but compact bed frame, which protrudes only a few centrimetres beyond the mattress, reduce the overall measurements and enhance the minimalist aesthetics.
The Osaka bed is available in standard or French double, single with an 80 cm or 90 cm bed base, large single, king size or super king size with a 200 cm bed base.
Offered with removable covers in fabric, faux leather or leather, the bed frame can be slim h.5 or h.10 cm with high feet, or on the ground h.30 with half-hidden feet and finally h.25 cm raised from the ground for a light effect. The different bed frame heights are matched by the feet, which can be of different shapes (tubular, cone-shaped, square, flat outside the feb frame) and finishes (metal, wood or plexiplass).
Osaka is always fitted with an orthopaedic wooden slatted base that guarantees a comfortable and ergonomic sleeping surface and provides various optional extras including stiffness adjusters to increase the level of comfort and the possibility of encasing the mattress for a lowered aesthetic effect.The practical lift-up system provides access to the large storage compartment underneath for storing blankets, linens and boxes and in the double lift-up version also allows the bed to be easily made up with minimal depth.
