Material Specifications
Marble: elegant and refined stone marble, characterised by open veins that sometimes may present some resin based speckles that create a uniform and smooth surface so that the top comes with no irregularities, granting additional structural resistance. Because it is a natural stone that is sometimes more than a million years old, the surface cannot be defined as 'perfect'; each piece is different from the next, depending on the cutting and polishing process. It may have natural micro imperfections, a characteristic of marble and not due to defects. Marble tops are naturally porous: any protective polyester treatment hides this porosity to the touch, leaving all the natural features of the stone visible.
For More Information...
Porcelain stoneware Top: it is made by the match of a lower glass slab of thickness mm 6 or 10 and of an upper slab in ceramic of thickness mm 6. Porcelain stoneware is a compact material which is resistant to cold temperatures and to chemical agents. Externally, the main characteristics are chromatic variations of veins and delicate dots: these are diversification details which are realised voluntarily in order to recall the causality and the beauty of natural materials.
Hammered Glass Top: this is obtained by processing the sheet in a melting furnace (also known as 'fired glass'). The sheet that has already been shaped is actually heated and left to cool: as it cools, the glass 'relaxes', obtaining the unusual texture: the effect that results is a wavy surface that resembles wrought iron, rich and textured both to the eye and touch, which gives a charming play of light, shadows and reflections
Ceramic top: it is made by the match of a lower glass slab of thickness mm 8 and of an upper Laminam® slab layer of thickness mm 3.Laminam® is a slab of ceramic and glass which is very thin and it is realised with advanced technologies in order to obtain a slim thickness and a high resistance to mechanic stresses, chemical products, time, scratches, and flexion. Easily cleanable, resistant to cold temperatures, fire, moulds and UV rays, it is a revolutionary eco-friendly material: natural raw materials, sustainable technologies, recyclable materials.
Glass Top: tempered glass compliant to UNI regulation, it is a glass that is treated during manufacturing with a heat process: high temperatures followed by a sudden break down of the temperatures, all with the aim of obtaining a glass with strong inside tensions, which becomes resistant to flexion and thermic shocks. A warranty of higher quality also increased analysing each slab of glass with a high precision digital scanner.
Wooden Top:: realised with the best real wood veneers or solid wood elements.
