TAMMEL (honeycomb core + melamine): used to make doors, frames, table tops, etc., it is composed of a honeycomb core with a carefully selected solid fir frame and, inside, a honeycomb core, all veneered with Royal, Alpha or Grafis MDF panels. The TAMMEL guarantees non-deformability over time, lightness, practicality and meets all the requirements of European Class 1 standards regarding the limitation of harmful formaldehyde emissions, it complies with CARB2 standards.
The honeycomb sandwhich panel is a panel made with an internal honeycomb structure and a 5 / 7 cm perimeter frame in first choice solid fir wood closed with 2 MDF panels 0,3 / 0,4 cm thick, subsequently lacquered or veneered.
The strengths of honeycomb sandwich panels are:
- greater durability over time;
- greater load resistance;
- considerably reduced panel weight (up to 60% less), which is useful for transport, assembly, moving or relocation, but above all to reduce the weight of the doors on the structure and hardware;
- hardware always fixed to the perimeter (in solid fir) of the sides and doors, so the hinges will have greater resistance and the furniture will have a considerably longer life;
- migliore resistenza all'umidità, in quanto il materiale "respira";
- exclusively "100% Made in Italy" product.
Aged Oak: compared to "standard" open pore oak, aged oak is characterised by its slightly more brushed surface, which shows deeper pore and more evident grain. This difference is more noticeable on large surfaces such as tables, wall units and wardrobes, less so on complements, beds and bed sets.
