Omega is a sofa with folding backrests and armrests, with a timeless design made extremely versatile to meet the flexibility requirements of contemporary living. With a reassuring beauty that goes beyond fashions, the essential shapes design fixed or modular sofas, changing in comfort depending on how the backrests and reclining armrests are positioned or on the possibility of having fixed or free standing cushions. In fact, the back cushions can be standard, or square with a back roller to rest freely on the backrest or move as desired to add movement to the continuity of the composition.
The linear and rigorous structure accommodates soft foam and memory cushions and on some elements continues beyond the seats with a support surface or hosts a fold-down armrest that together with the backrests, when fully lowered, create a continuous surface with the seat. This situation is ideal to have a sort of relaxing peninsula or to "open" the sofa towards the surroundings if positioned in the centre of the room. The fixed armrests have the same height as the backrest and together with the half-hidden feet make Omega a rather low, visually light and minimal floor-standing sofa.
Omega takes on the configuration most suited to the specific dimensional or stylistic requirement thanks to the variety of its elements: in addition to the classic 2/3-seater sofa, corner or chaise longue with fixed armrests, the modular system allows for the creation of various compositions, more or less structured, even of large dimensions, L-shaped, with peninsulas, with reclining armrests or sofas without armrests that end with an open side or to which small tables and storage units are added to be positioned to the side or between the seats.
The textile covering is completely removable and draws from a vast sample book that includes plain or melange fabrics, fabrics with a more or less marked weave, chenilles, microfibres, velvets, natural, mixed or more technical fabrics; it is also possible to have the sofa in real leather by choosing from different types. Back cushions and/or any additional decorative cushions can be configured to match the sofa or lend themselves to more or less contrasting colour combinations.
