Description

Gilles shabby style sofa bed, with soft cushions for the utmost cosiness and comfort. The seat is made up of a single cushion whereas the backrest is composed of one or two big soft cushions.
The upholstery cover in fabric is removable and is characterised by a precious skirt and pinched seams or an applied piping: this worn-out, creased look gives to the sofa a peculiar country style. The pleasant aesthetic guarantees a great versatility making it the perfect solution for the living area of a one-room flat, a holiday home or a basement.

Gilles is available with or without bed, in the first version it is possible to choose a single, large single, French or Italian double.
The opening mechanism is patented Lampolet® which guarantees solidity and resistance through time; furthermore the sofa can be turned into a bed in an extremely easy and quick way; once the bed is open it is also possible to put the seat cushion inside the opening between the bed and backrest, in this way you can use it as a headboard.
The metal mesh base is electro-welded whereas elastic straps are placed where the seat is to increase the seat comfort during the use as a sofa and during the resting period.

Mattress: in D25 h.12 expanded foam.

Piumafil® comes from the blend of Kapok fibre and cotton. This fibre is drawn directly from Kapok tree fruits when not farmed, thus they have never received chemical products nor fertilizers. Kapok fibre is 6 times lighter than cotton, silky to the touch and with natural anti-mite properties thanks to the bitter matters it contains. Its hollow shape makes it transpiring and thermo-regulated; furthermore is particularly suitable for people with allergies.
