Description

René is a reading armchair with a tall, slightly tilted backrest and integrated armrests. The upholstered body, with its soft curves, characterises the armchair and gives it a comfortable and ergonomic touch.
The upholstery on the René armchair is available in either mono-colour or two-tone, with a choice between high-quality fabric, velvet or real leather. The upholstery is further enhanced by the embroidery stitching on the back of the armchair. This stitching, which also runs along the edge of the backrest and armrests, is available in two versions; in a blanket stitch or in another stitch which is unique to the studio, called ‘Trap’.
The base of the armchair, which is made from powder-coated metal or matt or glossy lacquered metal, covers the entire perimeter of the chair and features four, 18cm tall legs.

Vegetable tanning: the naturalness of this process is guaranteed by the usage of vegetable tannins, obtained from trunks and barks of trees such as chestnut, quebracho and mimosa. The extraction of these natural substances does not damage the woodland because they are actually waste from the wood manufacturing.
The leather made with vegetable tanning is biodegradable, because it is free from chemical agents and processed with natural dyes.
Tuscania and Ghost leathers are certified by the "Genuine Italian Vegetable-Tanned Leather Consortium".
