Description

Pure satin bed linen made from combed and mercerised TC300 American cotton yarns of high quality and fineness. The loom-processed satin weave makes the fabric soft and smooth; the subsequent calendering step gives it its characteristic lustrous and elegant appearance.
Available in numerous colour variations, the Satin bed linen includes the sheet set, duvet cover, mid-season quilt and winter quilt. The pillowcases can be baggy or with ruffles, sartorially finished with simple hemstitching, with hemstitching or with matching or contrasting cording; the top sheet has the same stitching on the bourdon.
It is possible to purchase the linen in packs with standard finishes and sizes or choose the customised pack, which allows you to customise both the size according to your mattress and the colour and finish; the loose items also allow you to add a possible pair of pillowcases, or a second sheet underneath with corners, or even to create the set by coordinating several colours.

Title: The nobility of thread. The thinner, more cohesive and longer a thread is (i.e. composed of homogeneous and regular fibres), the more valuable it will be. The parameter used to indicate the value of the yarn is called 'count', a figure derived from the ratio between the length and weight of the yarn (m/kg).
A fabric made from long-fibre cotton guarantees greater resistance to wear and washing and a much softer touch. In fact, while a fabric made from short-fibre cotton will have a thin layer of pilling that escapes the surface of the weave and which, with friction and washing, will produce unsightly pilling, a fabric made from long-fibre cotton yarn will not be subject to pilling and will remain beautiful and soft over the years.

Textile weave: this is the process by which the fabric is created, i.e. the design and proportion of the warp and weft threads; depending on their arrangement and the quantity of threads used, one will have a plain weave, such as cotton satin, or a dull weave, such as cotton percale.
The quantity of threads in a fabric is indicated by the term 'Thread Count', which calculates the number of threads per square centimetre: the higher the TC, the higher the quality of the fabric and weave. Textile weaves with a TC of 200 or more are considered fine fabrics.

Satin: cotton satin is a fine fabric with a soft touch, obtained from loom-worked satin weave. Once the loom work is finished, the fabric undergoes a calendering operation that gives the cotton satin its lustre. The result is a fabric with a soft weave that appears shiny to the eye and pleasantly smooth and delicate to the touch.
