Technical Specifications and Equipment
Wooden top: veneered wood with oblique edges, 3,8 cm thick.
Crystal top: tempered according to accident prevention regulations, extra-clear transparent and/or glossy black back-lacquered. The extra-clear and/or back-lacquered glass top is 1,2 cm thick for the 200 cm tops, while it is 1,5 cm thick for the larger 240/300 cm tables. The hammered glass top has a thickness of 1 cm.
Ceramic Top: 0,6 cm thick porcelain stoneware, coupled with a 1 cm thick tempered glass sheet. Easy to clean and resistant to scratches, wear and high temperatures.
Marble Top: 2 cm thick with oblique edges, coupled with a 2,5 cm thick black wooden under-top. Natural marble slabs are carefully selected and processed in order to enhance their colours: each surface should be seen as a unique piece, with possible variations in veining and colour.
Material Specifications
Marble: elegant material, characterised by open veins which can sometimes feature resin-based grouting, which smooths the surface in case of slight roughness, while also guaranteeing greater structural resistance. Seeing as it is a natural stone, with an age sometimes exceeding a million years, the surface cannot be defined as "perfect": each slab is different, with more or less marked veins depending on the cutting and polishing processes. Natural micro imperfections may be present, and this is a characteristic of marble and not attributable to defects. Marble tops are naturally porous: a possible protective polyester treatment hides this porosity to the touch, leaving all the natural characteristics of the slab visible.
Hammered glass: obtained by placing the sheets in a melting furnace (this is why it is also known as "fired glass"). The already shaped sheet is heated and then left to cool: during the cooling phase, the glass "relaxes", acquiring the specific texture: the effect is a wavy surface, reminiscent of wrought iron. A rich texture to the sight and touch, providing pleasant plays of light, shadows and reflections.
