Drappy is a modern sofa in draped fabric, characterised by soft, generous shapes. The special tailoring of the lining with drapery-effect pleats covers the cosy volumes of the sofa; an embossed border finishes and redesigns the rounded profiles. Resting on the floor with completely concealed feet, Drappy is distinguished by its full volumes but softened by rounded corners and sinuous lines: the single one-piece seat is connected to the wide shaped armrests, the slightly rounded backrest is lower in the centre to rise at the ends.
In addition to the armchair and the traditional linear 2/3-seater sofa, highly customisable solutions can be created by combining the individual seats: there are linear elements with or without armrests, corner elements, chaise longue and ottoman. The linking system is designed not to be visible, so that the different elements can be used in compositions or free-standing for maximum compositional freedom.
The completely removable cover finds its maximum expression in velvet or in soft fabrics such as chenille that accentuate the particular pleated workmanship; it is however available in numerous other fabrics with the most varied weaves and colours.
