Katen is a low sideboard with sliding wooden doors, immediately recognizable by its distinctive ribbed fronts and perfectly rectangular frame. Made entirely of solid ash wood, Katen is available in two versions: two-door or three-door, with widths ranging from about 150 to 220 cm. An additional customisation step allows users choosing between a 22 cm high and a 37 cm high black metal base, depending on their positioning and usage needs. The design of the grooves and sliding door opening, as well as the decision to use only solid wood, are clearly vintage-inspired choices that echo the geometries and finishes of mid-century currents. These peculiarities contribute in equal measure to making Katen a valuable, functional and durable piece of furniture.

For more information...Solid Wood: any wood element that has been obtained directly from the cutting of the tree trunk (laths, beams, boards and, logically, furniture or parts of it); depending on the type of tree we will therefore have solid walnut, chestnut, cherry ash and many others. Each wood has its own characteristics that act on workability, strength, value and therefore make it suitable for specific uses: for example, walnut is a very hard wood, ideal for making the load-bearing elements of furniture, while ebony is a fine wood suitable for carvings.
Assembling TipsTo clean, we recommend the use of a soft wet cloth. Avoid aggressive alcohol based detergents.
