Curbside Delivery


diotti.com delivers, relying mostly on specialised furniture carriers to guarantee a high standard of service and product integrity (shipping of small packages or replacements can also by delivered by express courier). All our shipments are covered by an All Risk Insurance.

Once the delivery is ready, the customer himself needs to authorise the shipment, receiving email confirmation within days.
The courier then notifies the customer telephonically (normally the day before delivery) indicating the time and day (Monday to Friday).
It is not a scheduled delivery: the customer's availability is taken into account by the courier, provided it is compatible with the delivery schedule.

The delivery is made in front of the specified address, to the nearest accessible point using the delivery vehicle. Depending on the delivery, the customer may be required to assist the driver by unloading the packages from the side of the truck (at times providing additional people for bulky packages).

Surcharges for Special Locations or Limited Traffic Zones


When placing an order, the customer must correctly select the option: 'ZTL' (applicable for Limited Traffic Zones and Pedestrian Zones).

The address entered is verified at the end of the purchase (i.e. after the deposit or balance has been paid), as well as the possibility of limited traffic zones surcharges and its entity (the surcharge quoted by the system, when checking the ZTL box is merely an approximate estimate which is not bounding, the specific quote will depend on the times, modalities of the request for the access permit and the cost of the permit itself).

Surcharges for Special Vehicles

Special vehicles may sometimes be necessary for addresses that (due to road restrictions or dimensional reasons) require the use of vehicles less than 12 meters long. When using special vehicles we always work (together with our logistics partners) to avoid charging the Customer a specific surcharge, however, this may sometimes occur. In such cases it is not possible to cancel orders in production: if an order is already in production with a surcharge for a special location, the options available to the Customer are to either pay the surcharge or to indicate a different address (outside the special location).

We recommend that Customer Services be contacted prior to ordering if you feel that your address may require the use of special vehicles.

Surcharges may also apply when requesting a quotation for deliveries to areas that can be defined as a "construction site" (sites under construction or near completion) and smaller islands.
