Low sideboards: different support types for different needs

When we talk about floor-standing sideboards, the type of supporting structure is not just an aesthetic detail, it is also a characterising design element. A sideboard with tall legs, whether sled-base or standard legs, will look dynamic and slender and fit perfectly into any modern environment. The finish on the exposed legs is available in lacquer, plastic, chromed or satin-finish metal and natural or painted wood, giving the furniture a high-quality look. Each aspect of every piece is studied in detail, in order to optimise both the usability and the aesthetic performance of the product. Low legs, plinths and bases that match the rest of the structure are perhaps a more conservative option but are exceptionally well-suited to certain styles. In fact, they help to convey a sense of solidity and homogeneity of colour, making it easier to match the sideboard with the rest of the furniture in the room. Customising and adapting your sideboard does not take away from the exceptional quality of the craftsmanship used to make it.

Flexibility and craftsmanship: the measurements of a floor-standing sideboard

Another factor to bear in mind when selecting the perfect sideboard is the choice of size and measurements. Available with 2, 3 or 4 doors, most standard sideboards range from about 100 or 160 cm wide, up to much wider models of 200 or even 300 cm. No room is too small or too large to accommodate a sideboard, it’s simply a question of selecting the right size for the space available. Choosing a smaller model also does not take away from the versatility or high-quality standards used in the construction process. Whether used in the centre of an open-plan space, or as a console table or TV cabinet, a high-quality sideboard from this collection will become the protagonist of any contemporary living space.
