Leyton is a sofa with sliding backrests that glide back in a fluid and light movement, allowing you to adjust the seat depth to your liking and change the comfort of the sofa from formal to relaxing. The sofa is 120 cm deep and goes up to 130 cm with the backrests fully set back, with a seating space ranging from 68 to 110 cm. A cut-out on the seats accommodates and conceals the sliding mechanism of the backrests; the sliding backrest is independent for each seat and is provided on all elements, even on the corner module and peninsulas.
In addition to the possibility of increasing the seating space, the high level of comfort is provided by the seats and backrests upholstered in different densities of foam with elastic belt springing. Leyton has no real armrests but the support of the arms is provided by a kind of sloping side wing of the backrest.
In addition to the linear sofa with 2 or 3 seats, with the various modular elements offered by the system, it is possible to have sofas with chaise longue, corner, relaxing peninsula or open side.
The upholstery is made in a choice of a wide range of fabrics or leathers; the possibility of customisation increases if one chooses the sofa with a two-tone cover, which provides for the bands along the edge of the seats and backrests in a different colour or material, tone on tone or contrasting according to personal taste. The upholstery is sartorially finished with a black cordonetto.
The high, flared wooden feet are available in a moka-stained oak or Canaletto walnut finish; the wood detail is echoed in the optional tray to be placed between two seats and the small serving table that fits in a "C" shape on the seats.
