Description

Leeds printed bouclé velvet carpet is available in rectangular, square, round and oval shapes with customised measurements to suit your space requirements. The short pile with a velvet-like appearance is made using the tufting technique and alternates with an irregular bouclé pattern with a vintage look, mimicking the wear and tear of the carpet over time. The textural effect and colour changes according to the angle of light and the direction of the pile is very noticeable. The effect when walked on is that of a soft carpet that furnishes and warms the room, reducing the sound of footsteps. The carpet is available in different colour combinations thanks to the direct printing on the pile; it is either edge-trimmed or possible to choose an applied 5 cm border in cotton or faux leather.

Tufting:
Tufting is a processing technique that produces strong carpets with a very dense pile. Tufting machines work according to the sewing machine principle: hundreds of needles thread tufts of yarn onto a previously woven backing. During processing, the yarn is cut and finished, resulting in the carpet's carpet effect on the surface.
