Optional
Basin Slide: the basin slide is optional and removable for 6mm-thick gres basins (variable depending on the colour), while there is a slide integrated into all stratified HPL basins which are 10mm thick; with a slide, the surface is smooth with no drain hole and the water drains at the edges. The slide is sloped, and has a height of 4 cm from the bottom of the basin to the external side, and a height of 2 cm on the side facing the wall.
Maintenance Tips
Mineralguss: Clean with a sponge and a standard cream detergent. The top surface must not get in contact with solvents and alkaline lotions such as ammonia. Hair dyes mustn't be left in the sink for too long, but rinsed immediately. Never fill the basin with water hotter than 60°C.
Melamine: to clean, please use neutral liquid detergents. To remove limescale spots use a sponge wet with vinegar or an anti-limescale product, wash and then dry out. Do not use acid products or abrasive duties; do not leave the anti-limescale agents on the surfaces for too long, in order to avoid stains.
Gres Stone: to prevent stains clean immediately with a damp cloth or neutral cleaning products. We suggest the use of neutral detergents.
Tekor: in order to maintain Tekor, simply use soapy water or common, slightly abrasive detergents with a cotton cloth or a slightly abrasive sponge, making sure to dry the surfaces carefully. Avoid putting objects on the surface which are very hot or aggressively acidic, and avoid using a mix of solvents. Damage can however be repaired by a specialised craftsman.
Further Information...
Mineralguss: material composed of calcium carbonate and aluminium trihydrate, bonded by a low percentage of polyester resin. The gelcoat film that covers the surface guarantees an excellent physical and chemical resistance. This compound is a ductile material, resistant to heat. Possible colour variations, caused by high temperatures, can be removed by cleaning with a slightly abrasive sponge, and polishing afterwards.
Melamine: for cleaning, simply use neutral liquid detergents. To remove limescale stains, wipe the top with a sponge soaked in vinegar or anti-scale product, then rinse and dry. Do not use acids, abrasive products or powders; do not leave anti-scale products in contact with the top for a prolonged time, as this may create halos.
Gres Stone: gres stoneware is the result of a water and clay mixture that, through the extrusion process, changes into a plate with extraordinary mechanic properties. The vitrification closes the orifices and guarantees the highest resistance to water and stains.
Tekor:a 70% mineral natural material combined with 100% high-quality acrylic resin; (ATM & PMMA) and not with polyester resin. A compact, hygienic and fireproof material that stays intact throughout time keeping its colour without yellowing.
QTOP: unlike marble-resin, the mineral filler is not chemically attackable by acids. The products recommended for cleaning must not have a high alkalinity (basic pH), which could alter the binding resin, mainly from an aesthetic point of view. The best way to prevent stains is to remove them promptly with a damp cloth or neutral detergents before they harden.
