To Know More...Ceramic Glass: it is obtained through an handicraft process done on glass of various thicknesses. It is applied on a resin base in a uniform colour and then is applied an additional layer of rein on top of it. This layes has a different colour compared to the one of the base (lighter or darker to crate a slight contrast). The resin on the top surface is then applied by hand spatulating with vertical and horizontal moveemnts, covering also the perimeter edges of the glass. The effect obtained is of non homogeneous colour finish. The surface is then hardened through a process of heating in an oven. This passage grants the top of the writing desk to be hard and resistant to scratches.Undergoing an handcrafted process, each top is unique. As a consequence possible superficial irregularities are to be ment as a characteristic of this material.
