Maintenance Tips
Lacquer: to correctly clean the surface you just need to use products for glasses or watered-down alcohol (use a lot of water), dry right away with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive powders, waxes for furniture, ammonia or solvents.
Wood: use a wet cloth with common detergents for glass surfaces or a mix of water and Marseille soap. The wood, both veneer and solid, is treated with a protective varnish which makes the surface waterproof; however we recommend drying water drops in order to avoid stagnated water to penetrate.
Wood is a "living" material, for this reason possible variations of colour through time, due to the surrounding light, are not to be considered a defect, but they are just standard features of a natural material.
Mineral: for a general cleaning, use tepid water and a delicate detergent with a soft cloth. In case of limescale stains, clean with specific detergent and rinse with tepid water. Do not use acid products, chlorinated solvents or combinations of solvents. Avoid direct contact with heating sources and do not fill the basin with water hotter than 60°C.
Corian: for a general cleaning you can just use water with soap or a common ammonia-based cleaner. Avoid chemical matters or solvents.
Marble: since we're talking about a natural material, each top is different from the other as to texture, veins and colours. To maintain the look of the surface we recommend constant maintenance, without excessive use of soaps or unsuitable detergents.
Quartz: compact material, hygienic and anti-static, to clean just use a wet cloth and a neutral detergent.
For more information...
Mineral: it's a material composed of a natural mineral and a polyester-based resin, coated by a high-quality acrylic resin / polyester, which provides excellent long-lasting chemical and physical resistance, impermeability and hygiene in daily use. To the touch it fells similar to ceramic, with antibacterial, fire-repellent features.
Corian: it's a high-performance material composed of natural matters and acrylic polymers which can be in some cases restored.
Tekor: born from the combination between a natural mineral and a polyester resin; its colour remains the same through time without turning yellow. This material has a compact, hygienic, fireproof and non-porous surface
