Maintenance Tips
Lacquer:: For proper cleaning, simply use glass cleaning products or alcohol diluted with pleanty of water, dry the surface immediately with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive powders, furniture waxes, ammonia and acetone.
Wood: For cleaning, use a wet cloth with common glass cleaning products or simply use water and mild soap. Wood, both veneered and solid, is treated with transparent protective agents that make the product waterproof: however, it is recommended that any drops of water be dried to prevent water from collecting and seeping through. Wood is a "living" material so any colour variations over time, due to light, do not represent a defect, but are caused by the fact that it is a natural material.
Melamine: These are chipboard panels covered with paper-thin sheets that have been soaked in melamine resin. The panels used are thermo-structured, replicating the effect of wood in a life-like manner through plates and heat. Resistant to scratches and solvents (avoid aggressive detergents).
Mineral sink: For general cleaning use lukewarm water and a mild detergent with a soft cloth. Incase of limescale stains, clean with an anti-limescale detergent and rinse with lukewarm water. Do not use acids, chlorinated solvents or solvent combinations. Avoid direct contact with high heat sources and do not fill the tub with hot water above 60°C.
