Aliant 06 is a double-sided bridge bookcase, complete with hinged, drop-down or flip up doors, display cabinets and dividers. Ideal for dividing a large contemporary open space into two distinct areas, Aliant is an elegant and modern bookcase system, capable of giving great personality to the environment, thanks also to its customised productions to the centimeter.
The feature of Aliant that captures the most attention is definately the bridge element, which can provide a bright passage between rooms without having to give up an imposing and functional design. However, nothing prohibits the use of a different, or simply more restrained, room separation: the modularity and high customisability of Aliant always guarantee an optimal result, whatever the environment where it is to be placed and the intended use.
The available finishes, that are part of a selection of samples with many creative possibilities, include melamine (including textured), matte lacquer and veneered woods, to respect (or contrast, depending on the direction taken in the design phase) the finishes of the furniture in the two spaces that Aliant separates. Being a quality double-sided bookcase means that Aliant is finished on both sides, with fixed fronts to resemble the doors on the opposite side in case you have included storage compartments in the composition.
Aliant 06 is just one variant within the Aliant system. In fact, to meet every compositional need, it is possible to set up a deeper 41.6 cm model or two single-sided wall mounted versions, which echo the depths of the double-sided 'sisters'.

In compostions up to 187,5 cm the top is replaced by a 3,5 cm thick finishing top. For widths greater than cm 297,9 the top is divided into two parts.

The Aliant collection can be perfectly combined with the elements and wall units of the Plan system.
For safety reasons, it is mandatory to fix at least one side of the bookcase to the wall.
Storage compartments (doors, display cabinets) face one side of the composition. On the opposite side, fixed fronts are placed to match the doors or structure.
In the case of shelves wider than 124,5 cm it is mandatory to provide at least one partition (even in the rectangular open version) or an open box compartment within the compartment for structural reasons. If the shelf is greater than 140,5 cm, the divider must have a maximum distance of 92,5 cm from one of the two sides.
For the calculation of the overall height of the bookcase, the height of the sides already includes the thickness +0,5 cm of the leveling feet.

Structure: wood particle board (class E1 low formaldehyde emission). Wooden edge, lacquered ABS or ABS. The sides on the floor are always equipped with leveling feet inserted in the thickness (0,5 cm h. minimum).
Sides, Bottoms, Tops, Dividers: cm th.3,5.
Finishing Top: cm th.3,5 replacing the top in tall compositions up to cm h.187,5. For widths over cm 279,7 the top is divided into two parts.
Bridge: equipped with iron support bar with cover panels (cm 124,5 / 140,5 / 188,5 d.14,2 h.10) matching the bridge element, positioned under the bottom. Bridge compartments can be equipped with backs cm th.1,4.
Wooden shelf: cm th.3,5
Glass shelf: trasparent grey cm th.0,8 with visible blocking shelf supports. Placement in the center of the side (recessed cm 3,5 per side).
Rectangular open divider: cm th.1,2 in MDF panel coated polymeric matte lacquered. Freely positioned in the center of the side (recessed cm 1,75 per side), 45° folding processing.
Open compartment box: cm th.1,4 in wood particle board panel (class E1 low formaldehyde emission) matte lacquered. Offered with cm th.1,4 matching back, positioned in the center of the box depth. ABS edge. Freely positioned in the center of the side (recessed cm 0,1 per side), 45° folding processing.
Wooden hinged door: cm th.2,2 in wood particle board (class E1 low formaldehyde emission) or MDF. Wooden edge, lacquered ABS or ABS. Opening via push-pull or M handle.
Glass hinged door: cm th.2,2 in tempered transparent, transparent grey or glossy lacquered glass with moka shine, white or matte lacquered aluminium frame. Integrated handle to match the frame.
Display door: cm th.3,5 in grey transparent tempered glass mounted on moka shine painted aluminium frame (2 cm th.). Opening with full-height handle integrated with the frame (cm 0,8 d.3,5).
Wooden drop-down door: cm th.2,2 in wood particle board (class E1 low formaldehyde emission) or MDF. Wooden edge, lacquered ABS or ABS. Opening via push-pull or M handle downward or upward. Mechanical movement is provided by a pair of dydraulic pistons or by 'winch' mechanism (downward drop-down opening only).
Glass drop-down door: cm th.2,2 in tempered transparent, transparent grey or glossy lacquered glass with moka shine, white or matte lacquered alumnium frame. Integrated handle matching the frame with downward or upward opening. Mechanical movement is provided by hinges.
Drawer / wooden basket: cm th.2,2 in in particle board (class E1 low formaldehyde emission) or MDF. Wooden edge, lacquered ABS or ABS. Opening via push-pull or M handle. Equipped with concealed full-extension runners with vertical adjustment built into the latch. Dynamic load capacity of the slides 30 kg. Assisted closing system.
Drawer / basket also offered 'in light' version with fronts reduced in width (not rebated on visible side panels).
Fixed fronts: cm th.2,2 for double-sided closing. Made in the same size as the respective front with opening. Fixed to the structure by means of pins.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Surfaces should not be placed in contact with water, liquids in general, excessive heat and moisture.
Cleaning should be done only with a damp cloth; the use of alkaline products, solvents and abrasives is not recommended. The products are not suitable for outdoor use.
