Description

Shanghai by Cantori is a designer sofa with wrought iron feet available with a peninsula or as a linear sofa. Metal is the characterising feature of this sofa, conveying a sense of true workmanship in the form of wrought iron: the solid tubular feet are in fact forged and faceted by hand by expert artisans. They stretch upwards and come to outline the profile of the armrests in a vertical element which is supportive and decorative at the same time. 
In this game of contrasts, the strong iron meets the soft forms and large cushions of the sofa. A double perimeter structure frames the comfortable seat, the backrest with supporting cushions and a second armrest.
The upholstery can be chosen in precious fabrics, smooth eco-nubuck or with a woven print, in natural leather, suede, or real nubuck.

Structure: made from solid Beech and Poplar wood and MDF inserts. Structural covering is high-density multy-density polyurethane foam with a top layer with high elasticity.
Padding: non-deformable seat and backrets cushions filled with differentiated density foam, with a top layer of feathers and a synthetic layer.
Springs: non-deformable elastic straps.
