Dede satin glass dining table can feature a fingerprint resistant tabletop, which is set on an extendable metal structure. The top can be chosen between melamine or glass, the latter in various finishes: glossy, extra-clear, satin fingerprint-proof, ceramic. The structure can come either in painted metal or in precious glass covering. The extension leaves are stored under the top and can be chosen in melamine or matt lacquered finish. Choosing these materials allows you to play with clearness or opacity effects that can be very aesthetically pleasant. The ceramic class joins the thickness of the glass with a layer of ceramic, making the tabletop more resistant.

For more information...Ceramic Glass: the making process is hand-crafted and is perfomed on glass sheets of any thickness. A uniformly-coloured layer of resin is applied on the bottom of the glass, afterwards a further layer of resin is applied on the top. The second layer has a different colour in comparison to the one on the bottom, which is lighter or darker to create a slight light contrast. The resin on the top surface is then spread manually with a trowel according to vertical and horizontal lines and also the glass perimeter is covered. In this way, the result is a non-homogeneous coloured finish. The glass is then hardened by oven-baking and that makes the surface of the table top sturdier and scratch resistant.Since the making process is hand-crafted, every glass table top is unique and therefore some potential irregularities should be considered common for such material.
