Lived Oak: compared to 'standard' open-pore oak, lived oak is characterised by its slightly more brushed surface, which shows a deeper pore and more evident grain. This difference is more noticeable on important surfaces such as tables, wall units and wardrobes, less so on complements, beds and bed sets.
