Technical Specifications and Equipment
Slatted Base: with mm 68 slats in beech plywood, heath bent and with low formaldehyde emission, they are fixed to a metal frame with rubber joints. The steel frame is square and measures mm 40 x 30. Painted with epoxy powders.
Structure: fir solid wood and/or framed in poplar plywood. Panels measuring mm 18/25 made of poplar particle wood panels in class E1 at low formaldehyde emissions and natural wood fibre.
Padding: crushproof polyurethane foam with multiple densities from 18 to 40 Kg/m³. First cover in expanded foam matched with a grasping interliner in polyester and/or 100% polyester wadding, 200 gr.
Storage box: panels mm 12-14 in poplar particle wood, class E1.
Single lift-up slatted base: traditional mechanism, tested and certified up to 5.000 cycles, it lifts up at 45°. Steel frame painted in epoxy powders and with gas springs calibrated on the weight of the mattress.
Double lift-up slatted base: tested up to 4.000 cycles with servo-assisted mechanism, it allows to lift the base up at 45° and then move the slatted base and mattress in a parallel position compared to the floor at 1 metre of height. This is convenient for both having access to the storage and to make the bed without having to bend down and lift the mattress from below. Steel frame painted with epoxy powders and with gas springs calibrated on the weight of the mattress.
Feet:
Basic standard: n.4 recyclable polypropylene feet, available in wengé, black, white or silver. 3 cm high.
Lux: n.4 L shaped feet measuring cm 18 x 18 h.3. Available in natural beech wood painted in wengé, black, matt white or chromed.
Twinny: n.2 metal feet, available in glossy chrome, glossy carbon look or matt black. 12 cm high.
Baobab: n.2 solid wood feet, available in natural oak, tobacco oak or London oak. 13 cm high.
Optional
Remove slatted base: it is possible to purchase the bed without slatted base, exclusively for models without storage box.
Set of corner supports: only available for models without storage box and without mechanic slatted bases. With this set, you can adjust the slatted base and get a more or less recessed mattress. The three heights available are cm 5, cm 6 and cm 12.
Clean-Up System: a manual mechanism that allows lifting the 13cm high bed up, available for beds with storage box. It allows you to easily lift the structure up thanks to two concealable levers on the sides of the bed-frame. In this way 4 sturdy rubber wheels lower down and the bed lifts up by 13 cm: it can also be moved forward and backward with ease. When you pull down the levers the wheels lift up and hide and the bed stands on its feet. Easy, quick, practical and safe.
Object holder bag: useful solution, practical and elegant applied with velcro on the bed-frame. The different sections can store books, magazines, tablets or cellphones, there is also a case for glasses or headphones.
Assembling Suggestions
Easy to assemble. the bed comes including instructions for both the assembling steps and maintenance.
The bed will be delivered with the mechanisms already assembled on the sides, in case of storage box, and the headboard with the cover on. It arrives including a Catas certification, the Italian institution that certifies and tests wooden, furniture and industrial products.
