Description

Freehand is a cube-shaped wall unit with hinged door also available in rectangular format in a wide range of sizes. The extensive modularity allows the creation of wall compositions to meet every need: for example, several 128 or 160 cm high elements can be placed side by side to maximise storage space, playing with the alternation of full and empty spaces by inserting open wall units with metal frames, or even creating pleasant scenic effects through the coordinated use of wall units with different sizes, widths, heights and depths.
As with all the furniture in the Freehand collection, the hinged wall unit is opened by means of a puh-pull, eliminating all applied elements and thus helping to preserve the perfect "cleanliness" of volumes and shapes. The very high quality of the workmanship, typical of products made in the Brianza furniture district, can be seen in the construction details of the Freehand wall units, such as the structure with 45° angles and fronts with lowered thickness and protruding just 0.6 cm from the flush frame, and the lacquered or real wood veneered interiors to match the exterior.

Technical study

Technical Specifications and Features
Structure: extralight E1 particle board panel veneered with real wood veneer or coated with polyester resin and lacquered. Visible edges in real wood veneer, thickness 0.1 cm or lacquered polyester resin, thickness 0.1 cm. The Compact mdf cabinets are made of recycled eucalyptus microparticle panel coloured with organic E1 water-repellent colours. The backs are made of slate lacquered mdf.
The structures are finished with a 45° joint; the joint of the sides with respect to the upper and lower tops is made at an angle, thus obtaining "finished" modules already including the finishing top. A 0.3 cm joint is formed at the edge, which serves to strengthen and finish the profile. In the case of floor-standing elements and wall-hung base units, the 45° joint is only provided in the upper corners.
Fronts: the wood veneer fronts are made of Compact mdf, i.e. with recycled eucalyptus microparticle panel coloured with organic dark grey E1 water-repellent colour and veneered with real wood veneer: the edges with perimeter rebate on the fronts are Compact visible. The matt lacquered fronts, on the other hand, are made of HD mdf coated with polyester resin and matt lacquered in 4 coats: edges with perimeter rebate on the fronts are lacquered.
The fronts have a 1.4 cm recess/ perimeter rebate so that the closed front is thin (only 0.6 cm). Perimetrically the front is reduced by 0.5 cm per side compared to the storage units. The total thickness of the Freehand front is 2 cm.
Internal Shelves: the hinged wall units include 0.8 cm thick clear glass internal shelves (n.1 shelf for wall units H.48/64 cm | n.2 shelves for wall units H.96 cm | n.3 shelves for wall units H.128 cm | n.4 shelves for wall units H.160 cm).
