Minima is a minimal all-wood chair, characterised by essential and sinuous lines. Inspired by traditional wooden chairs, Minima is reinterpreted in a modern key, with a rigorous design and great attention to detail.
The solid ash legs are worked with a particular twist that enhances the fine grain of the wood; the rear legs are slanted to accommodate the curved backrest in multilayer ash wood and become its natural continuation in a single continuous profile. The front legs, on the other hand, are grafted directly onto the ash plywood seat, which is thicker at the sides and tapered towards the centre to be ergonomic and visually light. The seat panel can be either all wood, Vienna straw or upholstered.
Minima is also available in a version with armrests: a single thin flat metal sheet, curved like a ribbon, draws the two supports in a continuous line from side to side, passing below the backrest. The armrests can be chosen among embossed black metal, painted in a colour of your choice or burnished brass.
Minima is available in multiple finishes: being the warm sober tones of wood veneers to the brightest trendy colours; all tones leave the grains of wood visible, distinguished element of this design chair thought for an informal but sophisticated living area.
