Technical Specifications and Equipment
Structure: legs made from curved plywood veneer (20 mm thick), clear varnished or polyester lacquered and fixed to the track with a plate made from epoxy-powder coated metal.
Top and Extension Leaves: made from glass (12 mm thick), in gres stoneware (16 mm thick - exluding extending rectangular models with a th.12 mm top), in ceramic (11 mm thick), marble top (20 mm thick).
The extending versions are alwats equipped with n.2 extension leaves of 40 cm, with the exception of the cm 200 x 100 extendng rectangular model which instead is equipped with n.2 extension leaves of 50 cm.
Material Specifications
Marble: elegant and refined stone marble, characterised by open veins that sometimes may present some resin based speckles that create a uniform and smooth surface so that the top comes with no irregularities, granting additional structural resistance. Because it is a natural stone that is sometimes more than a million years old, the surface cannot be defined as 'perfect'; each piece is different from the next, depending on the cutting and polishing process. It may have natural micro imperfections, a characteristic of marble and not due to defects. Marble tops are naturally porous: any protective polyester treatment hides this porosity to the touch, leaving all the natural features of the stone visible.
Further Information...
Glass top: tempered glass used according to UNI 12150-1:2001 standards, is a glass that, after heated at high temperature, is abruptly cooled, in order to obtain glass with high internal tensions, which becomes resistant to bending and thermal shock. To guarantee a greater quality, the glass is thoroughly inspected using a high-precision digital scanner.
Porcelain stoneware top: made up of the combination of a 10 mm thick lower glass slab with a 6 mm thick upper ceramic slab. Porcelain stoneware is a compact, frost-resistant material that is also resistant to chemicals. Externally, the most valuable characteristics of the material are the variations in colour, veining and the subtle speckles: these are diversifications specifically designed to recreate the randomness and beauty of natural materials.
Ceramic top: made up of the combination of an 8 mm thick lower glass sheet with a 3 mm thick upper Laminam® sheet. Laminam® is a very thin sheet of ceramic and glass produced with advanced technologies, in order to combine a reduced thickness with a high resistance to mechanical stress, chemical products, wear, scratches, deep abrasion and bending. Easily sanitised, resistant to frost, fire, mould and UV rays, it is a revolutionary and eco-friendly material: natural raw materials, sustainable technology, fully recyclable products.
