Note: the mixer tap has a standard diameter of 3,5 cm.
For sinks without overflow hole we recommend the use of a continuous flow waste drain.
The measures of all ceramic washbasins can change (specifically aboout 0,8%) due to mould wear or slight variations of the technical feature of the raw materials that make up the dough.
Maintenance Tips
Melamine: for cleaning, please use neutral liquid detergents. To remove limescale spots, use a sponge wet with vinegar or an anti-limescale product, wash and then dry out. Do not use acid products or abrasive powders; do not leave the anti-limescale agents on the surface for too long, in order to avoid stagnations.
Stratified HPL: for maintenance, the top must be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth, without scrubbing in order not to scratch or abrade the top. We recommend the use of neutral detergents. Do not use abrasive or scratching substances, acids or strongly acid salts, metal cleaners and concentrated limescale removers. Avoid contact with boiling water, avoid using steam cleaners.
Lacquer: use soft, non-abrasive cloths for cleaning to avoid damaging the surface. Do not use products containing solvents, acetone or abrasives, or products containing wax, alcohol or silicones.
Wood: a "living" material with superficial varnish protection; to be cleaned with a soft non-abrasive damp cloth. It is recommended to clean the top in the direction of the veining. Dry with care.
Gres Stoneware: to prevent stains, clean promptly with a damp cloth or neutral detergent. We recommend the use of neutral detergents.
Tekor: for maintenance, the use of soapy water or mildly abrasive common detergents with a cotton cloth or mildly abrasive sponge is sufficient, rinse the surface thoroughly. Avoid placing very hot objects, very aggressive acids or combinations of solvents on the surface. Any damage can be repaired by a specialised craftsman.
Mineralguss: for cleaning, use a sponge with water and a normal cream detergent. The surface of the top must not be in contact with solvents and alkaline lotions such as ammonia. Hair dye products must not stagnate in the basin and must be rinsed off immediately. Never fill the sink with hot water that exceeds the temperature of 60°C.
Corian®: for maintenance, the use of soapy water or common ammonia-based detergents is sufficient, taking care to rinse the surface thoroughly. Avoid bringing chemicals or solvents into contact with the surface; if this happens, please rinse the surface immediately with running water. Nail polish should be removed with a non-acetone based nail cleaner and then rinsed with water. Minor damages including scratches, stains from chemicals, burns and small impact marks can be repaired directly using the Scotch&Brite abrasive sponge.)
QTOP: unlike marble-resin, the mineral filler is not chemically attackable by acids. The products recommended for cleaning must not have a high alkalinity (basic pH), which could alter the binding resin, mainly from an aesthetic point of view. The best way to prevent stains is to remove them promptly with a damp cloth or neutral detergents before they harden.

Gres: porcelain stoneware is made from a mixture of water and clay that is transformed, through the raw extrusion process, into a slab with extraordinary mechanical properties. Vitrification closes the pores, ensuring maximum resistance to water absorption and stains.
Tekor: mineral compound coated with a resin film that provides both physical and chemical resistance.
Mineralguss: Mineralguss: is a material composed of calcium carbonates and aluminium trihydrates, bound by a low percentage of polyester resin. The surface is coated with a gelcoat film that offers excellent physical and chemical resistance. The compound is ductile and heat resistant. Any colour variations, caused by high temperatures, can be removed by cleaning with a lightly abrasive sponge and subsequent polishing.
Corian®: non-porous, homogeneous, inert and non-toxic material, available in 12 mm thickness, consisting of approximately 1/3 acrylic resin (also known as polymethyl methacrylate or PMMA) and approximately 2/3 natural mineral substances. The main mineral is aluminium trihydrate (ATH) derived from bauxite, a mineral from which aluminium is also obtained. Because it is non-porous, Corian® surfaces are particularly hygienic, which is why it is used to make kitchen worktops, vanity tops, bathroom and shower walls, wall coverings and counters for public spaces such as healthcare, shops, hotels, restaurants and offices.
QTOP: it's a quartz-resin product consisting of natural materials (quartz and granite) and a high-quality binding agent, supplemented with coloured pigments and glass or mirror granules.
