Description

Percalle bed linen made of 100% combed American cotton TC200 of high quality and fineness. The characteristic tightly woven percale weave with fine yarns provides softness and a velvety feel; the dense weave makes this fabric particularly resistant to daily use and frequent washing.
Available in numerous colours, the Percalle bed linen includes the sheet set, duvet cover, mid-season quilt and winter quilt. The top sheet with reverse bourdon and pillowcases with ruffles are sartorially finished with a simple hem, with shadow stitch or with a matching or contrasting cordonnet.
It is possible to purchase the linen in packs with standard finishes and sizes or choose the customised pack, which allows you to customise both the size according to your mattress and the colour and finish; the loose items also allow you to add a possible pair of pillowcases, or a second fitted sheet, or even to create the set by coordinating several colours.

Title: The nobility of thread. The thinner, more cohesive and longer a thread is (i.e. composed of homogeneous and regular fibres), the more valuable it will be. The parameter used to indicate the value of the yarn is called 'count', a figure derived from the ratio between the length and weight of the yarn (m/kg).
A fabric made from long-fibre cotton guarantees greater resistance to wear and washing and a much softer touch. In fact, while a fabric made from short-fibre cotton will have a thin layer of pilling that escapes the surface of the weave and which, with friction and washing, will produce unsightly pilling, a fabric made from long-fibre cotton yarn will not be subject to pilling and will remain beautiful and soft over the years.

Textile weave: this is the process by which the fabric is created, i.e. the design and proportion of the warp and weft threads; depending on their arrangement and the quantity of threads used, one will have a plain weave, such as cotton satin, or a dull weave, such as cotton percalle.
The quantity of threads in a fabric is indicated by the term 'Thread Count', which calculates the number of threads per square centimetre: the higher the TC, the higher the quality of the fabric and weave. Textile weaves with a TC of 200 or more are considered fine fabrics.

Percalle: is a cotton fabric which is obtained by weaving a plain weave, worked with fine yarns with a tight weave structure. Smooth and of medium weight, the quality of cotton percalle is measured by the quantity of threads present per square centimetre: the greater the quantity of fine thread present, the softer and lighter the fabric.
