California Wood is a bed with optional wall panelling, available with a slim frame or with a frame with storage box. This bed is available as double bed (standard or large), or as a king size. The California collection allows you to add numerous wall panels and matching storage solutions, in order to create modern compositions for the bedroom. This is a versatile bed which can be customised by adding these various elements.
The bed is available in wood veneer or matt lacquer in several colours. The 45° cut between sides and footboard is smoothed by rounded corners; the bed-frame features light tilted panels making it easier to tuck in your bed sheets and blankets.
The bed frame can be 9cm or 15cm high, and both versions are available with the optional double lift-up storage box which is recessed compared to the top of the bed: this provides more space for bed linen and winter / summer clothes. It also brings the mattress up to a convenient height for making the bed every day, while at the same maintaining a sleek and clean design.
The suspended version is supported by tall, transparent, methacrylate feet, making the bed look like it's floating above the ground.

Information for your Purchase
In the interests of perfect aesthetic coordination, we recommend purchasing both the California bed and the California wood panelling.
Bed cannot be placed in the centre of a room.
The bed can either rest on legs, or on legs at the foot of the bed and the California platform at the head of the bed. The California Platform can be selected among the products available at the bottom of the page.
The wooden slatted base is always included with the h.9 version, and in all the versions with storage box; for all other models, you can buy the slatted base with metal frame and plywood slats in the configuration menu
Mattress is not included. You can find a suitable mattress in our Mattresses department: the mattress needs to have the same measurements of the slatted base.
