Technical Specifications and Equipment
Backs: made of 1,8 cm thick MDF. Height and width are always customised, depending on the module or composition to be back-finished.
Closing Sides: with a depth of 43 cm (for 38 cm deep structures) the side panels are made of particle board panels (class E1 with low formaldehyde emission). With a depth of 64,2 cm (for structures 59,2 cm deep) the side panels are made of honey comb sandwich panels with solid fir frames. The panels in both depths are 2,5 cm thick and meet CARB2 standards.
Back and Side Processing: Both elements can be smooth or customised, to continue the door processing onthe other sides of the back-finished wardrobe:

Backs and Sides available in TAMMAS (honeycomb + solid wood), honeycomb with solid fir frame, plated in solid wood on both sides, stained in the sample finishes and embellished with 10:10 or Wave decorations. Achievable exclusively by project, for further information contact our Customer Service.
Please Note: The side end panels are always supplied without edging on the short sides. The difference in finish, which is often hidden from view once the wardrobe is assembled, deliberately leaves the solid spruce frame of the honeycomb sandwich panel exposed in order to enhance the wooden component of the element and show the high quality of the finished product.
Assembly Tips
The back panel is attached to the back of the wardrobe by means of screws, which are pulled from the nside of the structure so as not to be visible. The positioning of the screws is free, but it is advisable to drill holes in the back panel at the internal fittings, so that these cover the holes when fitted.

Honeycomb: it
is a panel made with an internal honeycomb structure and a 5 / 7 cm perimeter
frame in first choice solid fir closed with 2 MDF panels 0,3 / 0,4 cm thick,
subsequently lacquered or veneered. The strengths of the honeycomb are:
- greater durability over time;
- greater load resistance;
- significantly
reduced weight of the panels (up to 60% less), useful both for transport,
assembly, travel or removals, but above all for reducing the weight of the
doors on the structure and hardware;
- hardware always fixed on the perimeter (in solid fir) of the
sides and doors, so the hinges will have greater resistance, and the furniture
will have a significantly longer life;
- better resistance to humidity, as the material "breathes";
- product is exclusively "100% Made in Italy".
Aged Oak: compared to 'standard' open-pore oak, aged oak is characterised by a slightly more brushed surface, which shows a deeper pore and is more noticeable on important surfaces such as tables, wall units and wardrobes, less so on accessories, beds and bedroom furniture sets.
