Description

Atlantic is a made-to-measure all-out washbasin shelf, 38, 46 or 51 cm deep and available in any size between 70 and 200 cm. This great versatility allows it to be adapted to any wall and situation, from a simple wall-hung base unit for a countertop washbasin to a long shelf with double basin or off-centre basin. The freedom in terms of dimensions is combined with that of finishes, with the top available in various materials such as melamine, wood, HPL, mineralguss, tekor, corian and stoneware. It is possible to complete the shelf with a wide choice of washbasins already present in the Configurator, while for a more complex composition other elements of the Atlantic collection such as wall units, open elements, drawers and mirrors can be added to the trolley.

Purchase Information
The washbasin is centred in relation to the width of the shelf.
Only for shelves over 120 cm wide, the washbasin can also be positioned off-centre, either all the way to the left or all the way to the right of the shelf. The distance of the washbasin centre from the edge of the shelf is indicated in the Configurator when choosing the position of the washbasin.
If you choose a high shelf that is larger than 140 cm and a round washbasin, you can have a double washbasin.

Faucets are not included, please find the outlet in the alternative products at the bottom of the page. Atlantic Mensolone Tuttofuori offers the possibility of purchasing the base unit without the washbasin: it is necessary to indicate the Brand and Model of the customer's washbasin, sending us the relevant technical diagram for the correct drilling of the top. Furthermore, it is necessary to indicate whether the mixer will be placed on the washbasin, on the wall or on the top, specifying in the latter case the positioning with respect to the basin.

N.B. The mixer hole has a standard diameter of 3.5 cm.
For washbasins without an overflow hole, the use of a continuous drain is recommended.

The indicated measurements of all ceramic washbasins may be subject to a dimensional variation (specifically about 0.8%) due to wear and tear of the moulds or to small variations in the technical characteristics of the materials making up the mix.

Maintenance Tips
Ennobled: Neutral liquid detergents are sufficient for cleaning. To remove limescale stains, wipe the top with a sponge soaked in vinegar or anti-limescale product, then rinse and dry. Do not use acids, abrasive products or powders; do not leave anti-limescale products in contact with the top for a prolonged period of time, as this may cause halos.
Layered HPL: for maintenance, the top must be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth, without scrubbing in order not to scratch or abrade the top. We recommend the use of neutral detergents. Do not use abrasive or scratching substances, strong acids or salts, metal cleaners and concentrated limescale removers. Avoid contact with boiling water, avoid using steam cleaners.
Wood: 'living' material protected superficially by varnish; for cleaning, use a soft, non-abrasive, damp cloth that has been well wrung out. It is recommended to clean the top in the direction of the grain and dry carefully.
Stoneware: to prevent stains, clean promptly with a damp cloth or neutral detergents. The use of neutral detergents is recommended.
Tekor: for maintenance, the use of soapy water or common slightly abrasive detergents with a cotton cloth or slightly abrasive sponge is sufficient, taking care to rinse the surface well. Avoid very hot objects, very aggressive acids or combinations of solvents. Any damage can however be repaired by a specialised craftsman.
Mineralguss: For cleaning, use a sponge with water and a normal cream detergent. The surface of the top must not be in contact with solvents and alkaline lotions such as ammonia. Hair dye products must not stagnate in the basin and must be rinsed off immediately. Never fill the basin with hot water above 60°C.
Corian®: Soapy water or common ammonia-based detergents are sufficient for maintenance, taking care to rinse the surface thoroughly. Avoid contact with chemicals or solvents, in which case please rinse the surface immediately with running water. Nail polish should be removed with a non-acetone nail polish remover and then rinsed with water. Minor damage, including scratches, stains including from chemicals, burn marks and small impact nicks, can be repaired directly using the Scotch&Brite abrasive sponge.
QTOP: unlike marble-resin, mineral filler is not chemically attackable by acids. the products recommended for cleaning must not have a high alkalinity (basic pH) that could alter, mainly from an aesthetic point of view, the binding resin. The best way to prevent stains is to remove them promptly with a damp cloth or neutral detergents before they harden.

Porcelain stoneware : Porcelain stoneware is made from a mixture of water and clay that is transformed, through the raw extrusion process, into a slab with extraordinary mechanical properties. Vitrification closes the pores, ensuring maximum resistance to water absorption and stains.
Tekor: mineral compound coated with a resin film that provides both physical and chemical resistance.
Mineralguss: Mineralguss: is a material composed of calcium carbonates and aluminium trihydrates, bound by a low percentage of polyester resin. The surface is coated with a gelcoat film that offers excellent physical and chemical resistance. The compound is ductile and heat resistant. Any colour variations, caused by high temperatures, can be removed by cleaning with a lightly abrasive sponge and subsequent polishing.

Corian®: non-porous, homogeneous, inert and non-toxic material, available in 12 mm thickness, composed of approximately 1/3 acrylic resin (also known as polymethyl methacrylate or PMMA) and approximately 2/3 natural minerals. The main mineral is aluminium trihydrate (ATH) derived from bauxite, a mineral from which aluminium is also obtained.
Because it is non-porous, Corian® surfaces are particularly hygienic, which is why it is used to make kitchen worktops, vanity tops, walls for bathrooms and showers, wall tiles and counters for public spaces such as healthcare, shops, hotels, restaurants and offices.
QTOP: is a quartz-resin product consisting of natural materials (quartz and granite) and a high-quality binding agent, supplemented with coloured pigments and glass or mirror granules.
