Description

Leander is a 4 legged wooden dining table; legs are in solid wood and the table is available in 5 fixed variants with round, elliptical or rectangular shaped tops and measurements up to 3 m.
The 4 legs are tilted and are made of canaletto walnut solid wood or in painted oak, open pore lacquered or heat-treated; legs are set back from the perimeter of the top
The round model and the two elliptical ones can be made with wooden top matching the legs or in White Carrara marble; the peculiar feature of this model is the edge coming with a variable thickness, which from the 3 cm close to the legs decreases up to 1 cm. Shaped rectangular tops come with regular edge and can also be chosen in Marquinia Black and Portoro marble.
The timeless style and the variety of the different combinations make Leander an elegant table suitable for both private and public spaces and they can welcome from 7 to 12 people.

Heat-treated wood: the heat-treatment is a high-temperature process that modifies the chemical-physical structure of the wood: the result is an evident alteration of the colour, which becomes darker, and a long-lasting variation of the different properties of the wood, with a better performance in terms of durability, stability and hardness.
Marble: elegant and refined stone marble, characterised by open veins that sometimes may present some resin based speckles that create a uniform and smooth surface so that the top comes with no irregularities, granting additional structural resistance. Because it is a natural stone that is sometimes more than a million years old, the surface cannot be defined as 'perfect'; each piece is different from the next, depending on the cutting and polishing process. It may have natural micro imperfections, a characteristic of marble and not due to defects. Marble tops are naturally porous: any protective polyester treatment hides this porosity to the touch, leaving all the natural features of the stone visible.
